Scene-Of-The-Day

I've started a new exercise where, every morning, I take the Merriam-Webster Word Of The Day and use it to inspire a one page scene. My goal is to try and pack as much of a story into a single page as possible; let's see how I do, eh?

05-22-13: "Canker"

Fun fact: "Canker" comes from the Latin "Cancer," meaning crab. Just in case you were wondering where this one came from.

Hey guys! Scene of the Day is back again! I started doing these while I was working on my last full-time writing job as a fun way of warming up in the morning - When the movie I was working on fell apart, my usual routine of warming up with a Scene of the Day did too. I'm going to try and get back into it though!
