Who is Eric Stirpe?

Originally from Rhode Island, Eric Stirpe moved to California in 2007 and has been fortunate to call himself a working writer since 2011. Primarily a writer of feature films at first, he's had several scripts optioned and has been employed as a writer-for-hire by independent animation studios, the Chinese film industry, and other boutique production companies. Besides his work writing feature films, Eric has also been involved in developing and pitching television projects to Cartoon Network, the Disney Channel/Disney XD, The CW, and Nickelodeon.

Currently, Eric is living in the San Francisco Bay Area where he is a Senior Writer at Telltale Games. He has contributed to several of Telltale's episodic franchises, including The Walking DeadTales From The Borderlands, Batman: The Telltale Series, and, most notably, as the lead writer of Minecraft: Story Mode. When not writing video games, he still writes screenplays, short stories, and dumb tweets and in 2018 Forbes named him one of the 30 Under 30 in Gaming.

He is not terribly comfortable writing about himself in the third person.
